What PowerMD is
PowerMD is a Markdown presentation tool that runs in your browser, with a built-in editor and a phone remote. You write a Markdown file; PowerMD shows it as 16:9 slides. There is nothing to install.
The idea
A deck is one Markdown file. Everything you already know works: headings, lists, tables, links, images, blockquotes, and fenced code. Presentation behaviour is added with small, invisible HTML-comment directives:
<!-- @directive arguments -->
Because directives are comments, the same file stays readable in any Markdown viewer; it just loses the layout.

The mental model
- A file is a list of slides, separated by a line containing only
---.
- A slide is a grid of panels, separated by a line containing only
***.
- A panel is a vertical stack of blocks: Markdown paragraphs, images, callouts, diagrams, and so on.
- Directives change how a slide, a panel, or the next block looks.
All sizes are proportional to the slide width, so a deck looks the same on a laptop and on a projector.
What it is not
- It does not store your decks online. Your decks are Markdown files that you keep; the editor only keeps one recoverable working copy in your browser.
- It is not a general Markdown renderer. Unknown directives are ignored as ordinary HTML comments, and raw HTML in slides is not a supported authoring tool.
