@reveal hides everything after it until the presenter advances:
Visible immediately.
<!-- @reveal -->
Appears on the first next step.
<!-- @reveal 3 -->
Appears on step three.
<!-- @reveal end -->
Visible immediately again.
An unnumbered @reveal takes the next automatic step.
Blocks sharing an explicit number appear together.
Steps are shared across all panels on the slide.
Hidden content keeps its space and fades in, so the layout never jumps.
@reveal end stops hiding.
Pressing Next advances one reveal step; when the slide has no more steps, it moves to the next slide. Previous goes back the same way. The phone remote follows the same rule.
Speaker notes
Put @note directly before a blockquote:
<!-- @note -->
> **Cue:** Explain the migration plan.> Mention the deadline before advancing.
The audience never sees it.
The paired phone remote shows the notes of the current slide, rendered as Markdown.
An ordinary blockquote without @note is visible content.
Notes inside fenced code blocks are not extracted.
Notes are plain text on a small screen: keep them short and put the next action at the start.
